Works, but could be much better

The most important reasons we continue to use this app are that 1) it synchronises well between members of our family, and 2) we payed for it. We also appreciate that items previously entered remain in the system, that one can add lists of various title, and that one can add various categories!
Frustrating issues are that 1) there are continuing empty, black spaces on top and bottom of the screen, meaning that there is a smaller area of actual list showing; and 2) that one cannot simply move an item from one list to another, but must actually delete the item from one list, then add it to another; and 3) that the synchronisation happens so often as to be extremely annoying.
Improvements would be very appreciated!
